The Chocolate Poetry Club (CPC) is a Community Interest Company (CIC) that began life in South London, in 2014. Made up of writers, readers and chocolate eaters, CPC is “ReStorying” the world. Committed to championing world changing artists, phenomenal chocolate and celebrating progressive organisations with powerful stories of change.
To date CPC has produced over 100 chocolate tasting / storytelling events and workshops across the UK. Our official chocolate partner Seed and Bean produce handmade, organic and ethical chocolate. We’ve made appearances and deliveries at events such as Field Day, Lambeth Country Show, Neverland, Althorp Lit Fest, BEAF, Leefest, Camberwell Arts Fest, Uniqlo Tate Lates, Brockley Max and more.
We have also forged unique working partnerships with Benefit Corporations in Fairphone, Intrepid Travel and a social enterprise in ReWrap Association, all with an aim to create engaging, purpose led projects.
As a CIC and past member of 1% for the Planet (before pandemic) we are committed to being an agent for social good, one that benefits both people and the planet. We believe that everyone is included and has a role to play in the human business of language.
