Sarah Callaghan is an award-winning writer based in London.
Over the last decade steadily building a name for herself in comedy; touring Australia, New Zealand, Dubai and Europe, with a smattering of TV appearances and no less than five full solo comedy shows. On top of that, she is also a respected poet and spoken word artist – a force to be reckoned with.
Sarah’s relatable yet gutsy serving of spoken word is rooted in personal experiences. Her work is often a reflection on everyday life discussing childhood traumas, heartbreak and self-growth. She began a transformative period writing & performing spoken word in 2018 proving to be an antidote to a dark period of mental health, inevitably captivating audiences and empowering listeners along the way.
Firmly holding her own at countless spoken word events and music festivals, her first book is a self-published title called ‘The Ballad’. Sarah has been described as laced with raw honesty, with a bit of banter for good measure.
